How It Was Developed Through 11 years of research we tested the fundamentals that must be met in order to produce a perfect putt. From our research we theorize that 4 fundamentals are absolutely required for perfect putting - Aim, Alignment, Putter Face Angle and Stroke Rhythm. 1. Aim - Research shows that about 90% of all golfers are not aiming the putter face at the intended target. Those putters that aren't aimed correctly yet still make the putt are a result of brain compensation for the error. This is why most of us are just plain lucky when a putt goes in the hole. 2. Alignment - Proper alignment and positioning your eyes directly over the ball are key to producing proper aim. A noted instructor once pointed this out by saying, "You can't aim a rifle if your eyes aren't direct over the barrel". It is the same for putting. 3. Putter Square To Target Line At Impact - Aim and alignment mean nothing if the putter face is not square to the target line at impact. This in one of the hardest putting principles to master. 4. Rhythmic Pendulum Stroke - A rhythmic stroke is very important to get the ball rolling with minimal skid so the ball will track straight on the target line. All of the best putters on tour have mastered this smooth stroke. This is also the best (perhaps only) way to control distance and eliminate the dreaded deceleration on short putts.
